As part of my quest to discover quality new music and thanks to the cloud of sound, I feel blessed to stumble upon JOEL SEVIN (aka Callum Brown), a producer hailing from the UK.Sevin´s sound can be described as mellow but heavy, soulful yet full of stamina..the kind that I´m into nowadays, reflected on the productions that I make.
He´s been influenced by his older brother with the jungle movement and he has been making tracks ever since..he faced resistance from the scene which was leant towards the heavier side of drum n´bass at the time and therefore wasn´t paying attention to the liquid soulful music that he was making...
Times change though (good thing) and more recently, he has been receiving support from respected DJ´s on the scene such as Marky, Bailey, Jaybee, Stunna, Crissy Criss, Hybrid Minds and others.
His tracks are signed and forthcoming on labels such as Soul Deep Recordings, Fokuz, Stepping Forward, Fizzy Beats and E-Motion.
